Iwas the Chief Communications Yeoman who bought her out from build and stayed in her until late 87. I then had the pleasure of returning for a second stint as CCY in 1989/90.

Had the pleasure of being AED on the Arkle Sparkle 2009/10 (bit of a sprog I know) Will never forget Auriga 10 and was on-board for the final cruise. Once in a lifetime experience (I hope).
Still hoping that one of the carriers could get changed to another Ark but that's unlikely now. Maybe there will be another one in my lifetime yet.

Enjoyed and amazed watching HMS Ark Royal BBC Documentary.
